Carbon Loss Register
A free public record, research library and loss-table artefact. Sources, coverage and corrections remain visible.

Our ambition is an independent evidence and analytical layer for carbon as a financial asset: a foundation that buyers, capital providers and advisers can examine and build on.
What does the record support?
Current services provide evidence-based research and review. Predictive models are not part of the current offering.
Confidence in an asset depends on being able to understand what happened, what is being promised and where uncertainty remains. Carbon needs that infrastructure as it is bought, financed, insured and held.
We are building it from the record outwards. The aim is to reduce the work of checking a claim, make uncertainty easier to price and help credible activity compete for capital. Those benefits are the thesis we intend to test.

Project and portfolio reading, source comparisons and evidence notes. The assignment defines what can be delivered and tested.
Standing evidence reads, underwriting support, delivery and counterparty analysis, and eligibility-focused work. Cadence and specialist methods need their own proof.
Research towards validated risk methods, institutional data services and controlled software access. These require validation, operating capability and appropriate rights before launch.
The wider product programme spans portfolio evidence, per-risk and underwriting work, obligation and eligibility questions, delivery and counterparties, dispute support, institutional research and data access.
Each uses the same discipline around identity, sources, dates and corrections. Each specialist method must earn its own claims. A working internal example is not the same as an independently validated product or a service accepted by a paying customer.
